The perspective is all over the place, but I needed to draw something else. I hope you all remember to take time to care for yourselves, and find a place in your mind/heart where you can be safe from stress, even for just a few minutes.

A lot of the time(for us anyway) it's the little dog who turns aggressive. Most dogs either like Akela or they hate him. There is no in-between.

He still needs to work on not tackling people when they come in the door.

WITHOUT FAIL! I will plan for a vacation, work furiously to get all my ducks in a row, and then juuuuuust before it's time to go, I'll get sick!

How 'bout Today?

It took me a long time to finish this particular comic because things kept happening.

Wrong Number!!!!!!

There was a time when I'd get phone calls for someone named Jen so often that I started to piece together a little story about her life at this time. The wrong numbers stopped after a friend of hers left a message saying she was waiting for her outside. I still get school closure messages meant for her though, and I haven't figured out how to make them stop. (Jen lives in Halifax and I live in SASKATCHEWAN) I also tend to get an absurd amount of recurring wrong numbers that aren't Jen's.

My Nine-Year-Old-Self liked tea parties, just not if I had to wear a dress. My adult self still feels the same way about dresses honestly.

Doors That Stay Closed

This was Olie's first thunderstorm up at the Lake. She used to run into my parents room at home when there was thunder. My parents doorknob at the time didn't latch properly and Olie could easily push it open by just walking into it. The doorknob at the Lake, however, worked perfectly.
