Bubbly Blissful

There is something magical about bubbles. I don't know that I ever tried to "pop" them as much as I tried to "catch" them. Finnian is quite content to do whatever he pleases.

Little known fact: When woman are no longer pregnant, they still get cravings. It's just cravings they couldn't eat when they WERE pregnant.

Eat Your Vegetables!

Olie had a unique talent of eating everything in her food dish, except any vegetable that wasn't peas. She particularly hated carrots. When she got overweight, one vet suggested giving Olie carrots as a alternative treat. We just laughed.

Open Windows

And then I drove away. I've pulled up beside cars before while singing, but usually the windows are up or the engines drown me out. I haven't actually had someone turn and stare at me like this guy did.

Worst Song rhymes with Hearse Song

How I hated that song, it actually scared me. Everyone else loved it.
I learned this song in Kindergarten, along with some much more child friendly tunes around Halloween. I don't think they would teach it to Kindergartners today.

Time Moves for No Lucy

This went on the whole trip. She's very excited about being a big sister. Oliver seems to be taking it in stride, as he does for everything.

Music Buddies

Olie insisted on sitting in on every music lesson. When I brought my saxophone out, she could match the pitch and volume.

I was lead to believe that the hardest part with flying a kite was getting it in the air. The first time I flew a kite, the problem was fighting the wind to bring it back down.

Songs I Know

My favorite songs to sing as a kid were the ones where I could randomly scream something. This  particular song didn't originally have a lyric to shout, but my siblings and I though it was funnier. I also didn't learn the rest of the lyrics until I was older so everyone was stuck with me just repeating this part over and over. Which is what my nephews and nieces do now when they like a song.
