Jacques & Kay: Dog Day's Epilogue

Is it still called a Cow Lick if it's from a dog?

Pre-Halloween Candy

I like Halloween just fine, but I don't like the reminder of the impending Fall which leads to winter, WHEN IT'S JULY!!!!

Livin' for the Weekend

I WISH this is how I spend my weekends! Now I just try to get everything done that I can't get done during the week.

Jacques & Kay: Dog Days Part 4

We are approaching the conclusions of our story. Is this the end of The 3 MusCATeers? I mean, I hope not. I just came up with that name, and haven't even incorporate it into the comic yet....

Parkour Tag

He also climbed on top of the shed, where his brothers tried to hit him with their footballs.

Bee More Careful

He tries this with EVERY insect.
When we had Olie, she got attacked by a swarm of wasps and swelled up from the bites so bad she looked like a Bloodhound for a couple days. I'm not in favour of having to deal with that again. Plus Bees are way better than wasps.

Jacques & Kay: Dog Day's Part 3

Whenever Turtle goes into 'Hunting Cat Mode' his tongue goes back in his mouth. Which is good, since he definitely would've bitten his tongue jumping on a Great Dane's back like that!

The Scary Beast

Akela can be pretty intimidating if you are nervous around dogs. He's on the large side of medium, energetic, and his shepherd heritage makes him want to greet people with his mouth open. He's also only 7 months old, and hasn't figured out that he shouldn't jump at the little kids when they come over. We're working on it, and part of his problem is he's so excited to see everyone, but doesn't seem to realize he's too much of a force. So I keep him on his leash (and now harness) until EVERYONE is calm. And it helps to show the kids that Akela's not always a crazy dog, so I demonstrate the tricks he can do. They always hold their breathe when I drop the leash. Every visit gets a little better.
