Good News!

I've been taking my brother and my oldest nephew to the SaskExpo for the past three years. It's a good time. I'm looking forward to this year as usual, but I think John is more excited than I am!

Jacques & Kay: Garter Gossip

Pearl is a bit of a cowgirl. Garter snakes are smallish (ish) snakes that eat mostly mice, small birds, insects, and are surprisingly good at catching small fish and tad poles. They aren't poisonous to humans and have a lot of predators including hawks, frogs and other snakes.
Jacques' very good at finding common ground among his neighbours.

The Hazards of Face Painting

Every summer (except one year where I got reeeeeeally sick) I volunteer to facepaint at our church's Family day. I often get sick afterwards, but despite getting sneezed and coughed on by 3 different kids, I somehow managed to avoid getting ill this year. Yay immune system!

I think I may have enough comics now lined up that I (fingers crossed) can maintain a Friday comic again. Although this Friday will have one last guest comic.
