A short break...

Hello my Friends and Relations!

Thank you for bearing with me with this adjusted schedule, and I hope you have all been enjoying the Guest Comics and Art Work that keeps getting sent in on Fridays.
I have been blown away by the amount of it all! Thank you!

That being said, I'm going to be taking a week off from the comic (I'm going on a bit of a vacation) so there won't be any updates this coming week (probably, we'll see if I can find wifi or not...)
I'm sorry for the short notice, I feel bad just leaving it like this, even if it's just for the week.
I'm really looking forward to this break. I desperately need this time to recharge my batteries and "unplug" myself for a while.

I'm also hoping to get caught up a bit on the comics while I'm on vacation so I can maybe, maybe, get a regular Friday Once Upon a Donna comic going again. But I'll see what I can do.

Thank you for being such caring and understanding people!
You truly are amazing!

Fanart Friday: Guest Comic by Chris Gobbett

This would be one of the few times Jacques knows something human related that Kay doesn't.
Thank you again to the fabulous Chris Gobbett for today's Fanart Friday! You always have something good to share! Thank you!

A Parallel of Puppies: Sleeping

Sometimes Akela will be draped around my head. Olie just liked facing the door.

Fanart Friday: Guest Comic by Amanda the Great!

This is a Super Awesome Crossover! Just look at our awesome shirts and hair!
If you haven't yet read Amanda the Great by Amanda El-Dweek I highly recommend you get on it!
Funny thing is, I do know a Keith. Probably not who Amanda means though!

Jacques & Kay: That took longer than expected

At this point, Coco doesn't even care about what there is to learn or why he wanted to learn it. He just wants to accomplish something.

Happy Swales

"Happy" was Hannah's way of saying she liked something, or it looked good.
Last Fall, my brother took his kids out to the Swale by their house (and I tagged along). The Swale is a piece of the prairie inside the city limits. It's beautiful grasslands, and an insight into what our city and Province looked like before we started farming and building. It's difficult to try to capture the quiet beauty of the prairie. For some reason, something gets lost in photo's. I've only seen a few photographers and artists who can do it justice. It's not something you can drive past and go "oooh". I mean, you can definitely do that, but the best way to experience it is to walk through it. You need to pause and let yourself be quiet to see it (unless there's a thunderstorm!) I used to go for nature walks all the time with my Godmother in places like this, and I should really start setting aside time to do it again.

A SUDDEN GUEST COMIC FROM CHRIS GOBBETT

Some of you have probably already seen this, if not Chris Gobbett posted this Fan Comic on Twitter and Facebook. I love it! Though personally I've always been more of a Rogue than a Jean/Pheonix (at least if we are going by the 90's animated cartoon).
I also have another Fan art Friday lined up for next Friday too! :)

Jacques & Kay: ABSOLUTELY NOT

Supposedly, Caber's first love was destined to fail because he kept seeing other birds he wanted to be with.... Supposedly.

She was listening...

Don't worry, Siri didn't just turn on, I bumped my phone while I was typing.

A SURPRISE GUEST COMIC BY JON ESPARZA

Thanks to Jon Esparza of Bubble Fox fame we have a comic today. It's amazing how accurate this is, and I like that Jon included Finn and Aiden looking on in amazement/horror, which is a normal expression to have when I'm eating.
If you haven't checked out Jon's comic Bubble Fox, I highly suggest you take a moment to do so! It's a good time!
Jon says he missed the deadline that Kim and Chris had set, so that is why we have a comic today when I said last Friday there wouldn't be one. So next Friday will probably be comicless for a few months. I'm glad people enjoyed the guest comics! I know I sure did!! I still can't get over it!
