Squirmy kids are really hard to hold. But once they find a comfortable position they can stay like that for a whole 5 minutes! I don't know what it is about Chris' head that toddlers seem to love.

His name is buttons!

These are two of the other kids my mom used to babysit. Brooklyn and Kyle. Brooklyn's favourite toy to play with while she was over was one of my stuffed animals, a Beanie Buddy named Bows. Which I promptly renamed as Buttons.
Her other favourite thing was Kyle. Kyle did not share the sentiment.

Mood Ring Drink

It was very tragic.

Then we'd spend recess looking for chocolate gold coins and getting questioned by the older kids as to why we thought there would be an Irish Leprechaun running around the Canadian Prairies. To which my reply was, maybe he's visiting some relatives here.

The two Bald Eagles at the Forestry Farm have been there for a long time. So I imagine their conversations have gotten a little grating.

Compliment or Insult?

After I said "yes", she proceeded to call out my Grandma's name and look around the waiting room. Which I thought, ok, she probably didn't hear me, but where did she think my Grandma went? Fortunately another nurse told her my Grandma was already called in and being seen.

Puppy Teeth

I knew that puppies went through teething, I just didn't make the connection that their baby teeth would fall out.

Dinner Attire

If you are unfamiliar with the 90's version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they loved pizza. (I think that's still there thing, but I haven't been keeping up)
Also Sonic the Hedgehog clothing means chili dogs.
