I Tried, Didn't Take.

Some people don't like nails on a chalkboard, I don't like stuff on my nails. At least stuff that doesn't come off right away. For this reason I also hate washing dishes by hand, as the soap and hot water make my nails feel soft. Yeah, I'm weird like that.

Bridges

This usually occurs on days off, and can last anywhere between a few minutes and the whole day.

FEED THE BEARS

John and I get notoriously Hangry.
"Hangry", for those not in the know, is what happens to some people when they get hungry. Their temper gets incredibly short and they get into fights over the littlest things, when they start to get hungry. As soon as they get food into them, they become functioning, normal, people again. It actually is a sciencey thing, involving chemicals being released in your brain, but I don't remember all the technical terms, so I won't go too far into it.

Creature of Comfort

I tend to cocoon myself when I sleep. If the sheets are tucked in, even after I fall asleep I will pull them all out, excluding the fitted sheet.
Also Chris dyed his hair blue. It's faded to a bit of a teal colour now!

Just Read To Me

Reading to children is encouraged. Of course maybe if the book you are reading is about werewolves hunting down a fae creature who is kidnapping children, and there are some pretty scary parts... Maybe just read them the bit about the horses.

I laugh when you see those old beauty tips that say you should brush 100 strokes.

The Blizzard of '07

I tend to laugh bitterly at TV shows or movies where they close schools down because there is an inch of snow. They didn't close our city down until we were half way into the blizzard and everyone was certain it wasn't going to let up anytime soon.

Best Sales Pitch Ever

Yesterday was, my Sister-in-law, Sarah's Birthday! So Happy Birthday to her! And yes, I do know nail guns have a pressure sensitive thing on them so that the nails don't go flying all willy-nilly, and No, I'm not really sure how this happened. Thomas, Craig or my Dad will tell you. All's I know is that Sarah don't mess around with no minor details. She is also a nurse and knows about things.

A rich and vibrant history... and also ghosts.

I have also been in the basement where one of the ghosts is reported to occupy. The only bad vibe I got from being down there though, was how close the ceiling was to my head.
To this day, the taste of wassail takes me back to that memory.

...Why am I here?

This happens almost every time Kim asks what we want for our monthly sketch. He asks us on Twitter, and then eventually I have 50some notifications about #RootBeerParty. Which is fine, but I don't check Twitter enough to be able to follow exactly what's going on in the conversation. Most of the people involved are avid Root Beer lovers and have a lot of Cartoonists involved. Hence the colorful array of characters. A Year To Be Brave
