Not Enough Sheep in the World!

I miss my window of opportunity and then I don't fall asleep for a looooong time. I really should just try falling asleep at that time. Plus it doesn't help that my brain decides night is a good time to think of all the things that bother me.

Butt

Of course, the problem is we are either double over laughing, or joining in the chorus.

Replacement Swears

Now, when my computer is giving me problems I swear like a TruckerFisherman. Otherwise, the words are all the first thing that pop in my head. Fish, Fruit and Badgers are all very common. It's like a angry 'G' rated mad gab.

The Challenges of Swimming

And sometimes its just better to run and dive in. Get the cold over with quick, successfully numbing yourself to it.

Little Artists

The stuff on her skin came easily enough off. Not so much the nail polish on her clothes I think.
I don't remember if this happened last year or the year before, but this was John's reaction.

John Catnip

This technique works for many people, you can even alternate between different foods! Personally I'll show up for anything that strikes my fancy.

I've mentioned it before, but I will mention it again; John didn't like to wear shirts when he was younger. I don't exactly remember when he decided shirts were fine.

Walking through one web is bad enough...

You go to the forests, your gonna walk through spider webs and see large spiders, naturally. But that one year they were just everywhere! Grandma said she had never seen them that bad. I think we still went on the dam bridge though. Or she and Erin did anyway. I don't like spiders at the best of times, or bridges for that matter.

The best laid schemes o’ Mice an’ Men

Incidentally it is Thomas' Birthday today. Happy Birthday ya Wingnut!
It was a bit of a tradition for Thomas to have a water fight on his birthday, so one year the siblings decided to ambush him after mass with a barrage of water balloons. And oh baby oh, did it backfire! That was the same year Thomas had been doing a lot of running exercises, so he was in super shape and the rest of us weren't.
I had qualms about doing this in comic form. The entire incident lasted maybe 5 mins and so many hilarious things happened within that time, and everyone had a different vantage point! I don't even know where everyone was! There was a lot of running and a lot of water! And Thomas didn't even get wet!

Adventures In Cooking: Good Things

Next week I may try do a fancy longer comic. We shall see how much time I have to work on it though. Enjoy your weekend!

The Biggest Number You Know

This was last year. It's amazing what change that can happen in one year of development.

Takes one to Know one

My dad says he didn't start learning musicals until he met mom though. (the song is Any Dream Will Do, from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat)
I like how the word 'geek' has changed from a term that would typically bring up images of some gangly youth with coke bottle glasses (that are broken), oversized teeth, clothes that are dated, crisp and too small, into a word that means you are very passionate about a specific interest.

Ready, Steady, Grouchy

Confession Time! I actually think the new Wiggles has some very nice little songs, and the singing is pretty good. Lucy loves them and will sing along and do the actions to the dances. I like watching for the little mistakes they leave in. Yep, I even get excited when I see Dinosaur Train is on. It's sad really.
Oh, and the line "I hate you and I hate your baby" is from Gone with the Wind. It seemed like such an odd thing for Scarlett to say that it was hilarious to me and Erin. I say that line frequently to her.
