Seriously, I can't picture any kid staying put in a tower like that for their whole life and not try climbing it. (Assuming the story is not the Disney version where the writers were clever enough to make the witch manipulative and molded Rapunzel to think a certain way, but the Grimm version where all she has to do is let down her hair.)
