No Context

Yes. This is funnier to me without the context.
Fair warning, my program I use to color these comics is being a bit finicky right now. Hopefully I'll be able to fix it by Wednesday, but be prepared if there isn't a comic that day. In the mean time you can mosey on over to my Fantasy page (click the tab that says Fantasy Characters) to see some other drawings I've been doing, in what little I have of spare time!

Hyper-Mode: Activated!

They all hit that sugar rush at the same time too. Not me though. All that sugar seems to level out my bitterness. But mostly I just don't like the feeling of too much sugar on my teeth, so I pace myself.

Look-A-Like

I never know how to respond to that last one. Whenever my brother was in ear shot of "you look like your brother" he would tell the speaker not to insult me like that.

My Worst Enemy

Seriously, I have issues just finishing the paragraph when it's a math word problem. Once, in elementary school, they gave me a math question and asked me to turn it into a word problem. My answer was word for word what they had in their answer book. I just thought about what would be the dumbest, and most infuriating way to ask the question.

Selective Memory

Don't worry, I know how old I am *coughafterIaskedmyfriendwhoisthesameagecough*
My biggest problem is I remember how old I am turning, and typically as things get busier and I get closer to my birthday, I get distracted and think I'm already a year older since I've had that number in my head longer.
So yeah, Age: not important. Theme song to children's show nobody remembers: Highly important.
Stupid brain, this is why I draw! On a different note, I'm very pleased with the expressions on the last two panels!
More on my hatred for numbers and math later.

Too Soon!

Stupid geese and their instincts.

Looks Can Be Deceiving

Huh. I think I found a key memory in my life that started my love for stories where the scary creature turns out to be the hero...
Anyway, my dad used to coach high school football, and Thomas and I were sometimes allowed to watch *coughplaystarwarscough* on the sidelines. When I look back, I mostly marvel at how as a child, those high school kids were huge and terrifying. Now....not so much.

Beddy Bye Time

He's saying "Yes", if you are confused by the "Es"

WORDS

TODDLERS!
I love how little kids refer to kids their own age, or even older, as 'Baby'. These four were all born in the same year, with Francis and Daniel being born near the start of the year, and Finnian and Lucy near the end. Of course both Finn and Daniel are big brothers now, so I imagine in this comic they are reminding the other about the new babies.

Not Quite Accurate

It's best to watch the radar instead of the Current Condition page. On the radar, you can see that little purple color that means a lot of rain, and typical of the prairies it's gonna hit and leave before the weather network has a chance to comment. It's still been a stupidly dry summer.

You never see the countless insects in those advertisements for vacation spots.

The Best Bit

I've been the the Ex a couple of times. I'm not a big fan of the rides, and can never win anything cool from the games. They've had some cool shows though. But really the only thing I'm interested in at the Ex is the delicious, delicious, Spudnuts. If you don't know what they are, then you are missing out! I also love Elephant Ears. If you happen to swing by the Ex, why not grab me a bag?
Please? No? Ok, fine. Worth a shot.
